Slygo Road is a Portland, Maine-based rock, blues, and soul band with influences ranging from the masters of blues, to Hendrix, to The Neville Brothers, and Joe Cocker. The core members (drums, bass, guitar) have played together for nearly two decades and are as tight as you'd expect.

Our style is hard to define since every member brings a unique background and set of influences. Generally, audiences say we have a little something for everybody, from soaring blues guitar ballads to off-the-rails ska tunes. The common theme is that everything we play is tight, fat, solid, and groovy.

Depending on the venue, we'll play either all original music or a mix of originals and classic covers. We make a point to include plenty of danceable tunes in every set.

Instrumentation includes drums, bass, and guitar, and everybody sings both lead and harmony vocals, so tunes are rich and sophisticated.
