Slygo Road's second album demonstrates the band's evolving stylistic range with punky ragers reminiscent of the Ramones, latin-inspired scorchers, and classic rock ballads. The band recorded the album at Expanding Sky studios during the summer of 2025 and finished mixing and mastering just before the unexpected and untimely passing of Dan Morrow, the band's Swiss Army knife multi-instrumentalist who played tenor and bari sax, clarinet, keys, and percussion and sang. The title track is one of Dan's finest compositions and a testament to the depth of his character and compassion.
The album features the band's trademark four-part harmonies and versatile musicianship. From the opening track, Hey!, to the closing El Calypso, there's a bit of every rock sub-genre to be enjoyed.
